More than a Decade of Insights
My work has always been based on my musings about the world, myself and my loved ones, about nature and beauty, reflections on human nature and women's place in the world, about the past and the future. I have mostly worked on series and this website features a series of series that came about in the last decade or so, which include paintings, collages and prints. From Faux Perfection, Self-portraits, Botanicals, Art Watchers to Playgrounds, from painting to mixed media, from printmaking to textiles, from drawing to art books, this is showing of the series that came about through my visions and my reflections.
Whenever, and however, I arrive at a theme that interests and motivates me, I work it until I feel I have exhausted it, and me. This website includes the work that I have invested more than ten years in and takes me from political activism to wonderment of the natural world to a kind of return to the most basic skills of art production. My musings on women's place in the world, the wonder of children's play, of vegetation all around us, of absorbing art and beauty, of seeing myself in this world, are my offerings.

COLLAGE
Collage is a technique that I favor, for its agile versatility, be it with found images or color, texture and marks. It is something that I use for dedicated production or as a pass time. I fill countless sketchbooks and pages with remnants of printed pages, or scraps of colored papers, or pages from old books and magazines. It creeps into my paintings, my prints and my drawings.
